Rock and Lake offers quality cottage accommodation in the beautiful Lakeland region of South Savo in the Mikkeli, Kangasniemi and Pieksämäki areas. Our rental cottages are located on the shores of clean and fishable waters, such as lakes Puula and Kyyvesi. You can enjoy your cottage holiday with us by combining different activities: go on a fishing trip or go stand up paddling from the shore of your own cottage, collect the treasures of the nearby forest for dinner and enjoy sauna and winter swimming with friends and family!

You can fish for most species of Finnish fish in our lakes, either on your own or with a guide, near our high-quality rental cottages. Possible types of fishing include spinning, jigging, pole fishing, fly fishing, ice fishing, trolling. There are also well-known fly fishing spots near your holiday cottage, such as Nykälänkoski, Rauhanvirta and Läsäkoski.

You can combine your visit with a variety of activities, both in summer and winter, guided and self-guided. Rent a boat or canoe, go on a Fatbike Safari or SUP trip, hike in the nature, fish – there are many possibilities! In winter you can go winter swimming in an open-air pool at your cottage shore, go ice-skating, skiing, husky safari or play alpine curling for a larger group or the whole family.
